Solar Eclipse
Yesterday morning, parts of eastern US and countries east of the US had an early morning treat! I had to crawl out of my warm cozy bed and venture out into freezing predawn temps to get this shot of the partial eclipse at sunrise! There were a few other photographers sprinkled roadside along Jordan lake so it turned into a small photo workshop! The eclipse lasted only about 20 min, then the moon moved away from the sun. Parts of Africa were able to witness the total eclipse.

on November 4, 2013Fabulous! I'm crazy about this! I'm really envious you got to see it. I got to see a total eclipse once, years ago when we lived in NJ. At the time, however, I wasn't into photography so I have no photos of it. A friend let me borrow his welding helmet, though, and that was a neat way to view the eclipse. How did you get the shot...doesn't look like you used a keyhole viewer.
